Russwin Francisco is a Filipino American actor, singer and producer. He produced and appeared as Manny in the musical film The Girl Who Left Home. For more than 30 years, he is a perennial player in Washington DC area community theaters with credits that include the Pharoah in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Lun Tha in The King and I, Simba in The Lion King and Bernardo in West Side Story. He performed in a live broadcast dramatic series on DZRH, a national radio station in the Philippines. A benefactor of the arts, Francisco funds modest yet exceptional ventures for their authentic, insightful perspectives. Francisco possesses a PhD in epistemology, was a college lecturer for more than 15 years and is an accomplished jazz singer.
